Far from a classic Afrobeat band, the collective emerged from the musical idea of three artists who already had the opportunity to make themselves known to the public and critics under the name Whitey Brownie: Alessandro Trani (drums), Micol Touadi (vocals) and Alessandro Pollio (keyboards).
In the collective, in addition to the core, the musical passion of musicians like Vito Cardellicchio on the percussions and Daniel Ventura on the saxophone flowed. An artistic project that has its origins on the stage and always returns to it: In the concerts, the refined sound of the band meets danceable rhythms and thus fulfills the wishes of a broad audience beyond traditional age limits. Their first album, which is about to be released, was conceived precisely in this direction: to reach the largest possible, curious audience with rhythm in their blood. Enjoy Take Me Away!
