Bloc Party unveiled the details of their highly anticipated sixth album: Alpha Games, out on April 29, 2022 on Infectious/Bmg, is the band’s first new work after Hymns, released way back in 2016. Bloc Party also the new single Traps, the first preview of the upcoming album, and announce a long tour that will take them around Europe and the United Kingdom in 2022. Produced by Nick Launay and Adam Greenspan (Nick Cave, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Idles), Traps sees the band return to the harsh, adrenaline-pumping sound of early releases in a post-punk explosion.
