Creating no small buzz around Manchester over the last year, but accelerated further with a line-up change at the turn of the year, Splint have been picked up by Nice Swan Records for their first release. Initially formed around the urgent songs of Jake Bogacki in 2020 as he wrote between stripping and painting walls in Calderdale, the band’s expansion artistically and in numbers has occurred in their neighbourhood in South Manchester and New Year brought drummer, Ellie Rose-Elliot from the defunct Blanketman and a certain Giulia Bonometti to the line-up. The change has been dramatic and the swirl of discussion around them the same. Enjoy the tune!
