With an imaginative and dreamy sound likened to that of Men I Trust, Beach House, Sunset Rollercoaster and Leah Dou, Inu-jima 犬島( lit. “Dog Island” ) are a group from Melbourne, Australia. Enthusiastic about the indie band sounds from their Asian origins, Inu-jima explores the intricacies between sounds and images. Started as a bedroom project and putting imagination above all else, Inu-jima continues to tell stories that evoke introspective feelings by delivering delicate female vocal performances on a bed of sonic layers.
