“One For Yourself” is the self produced second single from Kildare songwriter Colm Daffy. The track has an ethereal indie pop sound which lends itself nicely to Colm’s laid back vocal style. Following the release of his debut single “Borrowed Time”, Colm has developed a richer sound, influenced in part by artists such as Sufjan Stevens, Phoenix and Melody’s Echo Chamber.
The title refers to Colm’s life as a pub musician, playing cover songs for the most part and finding himself reluctant to play his own material. Enjoy the tune!
