American folk singer-songwriter Hc McEntire will release her new album ‘Every Acre’ on 27 January via Merge. Raised in Blue Ridge, North Carolina, in the Appalachian foothills, before graduating with a degree in creative writing H.C. McEntire made her reputation as the frontwoman of Mount Moriah and later as a backing vocalist in Angel Olsen’s band.
‘Lionheart’, Heather’s debut for Merge, was one of the best-loved folk records of 2018 and the same happened with her second work ‘Eno Axis’, in which country, folk, blues and classic rock influences allowed her to approach a wider audience. Enjoy the tune!
