London-based Ulrika Spacek are back with ‘Compact Trauma’, their first album in five years and the follow-up to 2017’s excellent ‘Modern English Decoration’. The recording of ‘Compact Trauma’ began in 2018, during the sessions of the ‘Suggested Listening’ EP.
Ulrika Spacek are a unique band, capable of taking the coordinates of great alternative rock back to the romantic and motoric shores of Stereolab and Spiritualized.
