Los Angeles’ Militarie Gun share a thrilling new single in “Do It Faster,” which serves as the first taste of the band’s as-yet-unannounced forthcoming debut album.
Packed with buzzsaw guitars and an anthemic vocal take from vocalist Ian Shelton, the short and sweet immediacy of “Do It Faster” is accompanied by a video directed by Shelton and edited by fellow band member Will Acuña. In the video, the band dons matching sweatsuits and performs on a spinning stage as their coach, played by Acuña, fittingly yells at the band to: do it faster.
Speaking about the song, Shelton states: “It is about my overall impatience with life. The agonising wait for things to materialise… so before resigning to do it myself, I’m imploring the world to just move faster.” Ejoy the tune!
