A groovy and sorrowful duet, ‘Miss You’ is about longing and separation, a theme that also runs through the other tracks on Jonathan Bree’s new album ‘Pre-Code Hollywood’.
The video, directed by the artist himself, is the third made for Radio Vision, the fictional show invented by Jonathan Bree in the style of the 1970s Top of the Pops.
‘Pre-Code Hollywood’ is Bree’s most exciting and pop-oriented work to date. While working on the demos for the album Jonathan noticed a certain 80s mood and decided to contact Nile ‘The Hitmaker’ Rodgers to work with him on some of the tracks. Whether by luck, fate or pure luck, the two ended up collaborating on ‘Miss You’ and the album’s title track (on which Nile Rodgers also played guitar). Enjoy the tune!
