Cln is an artist from Brisbane, Australia who makes beautifully chilled electronic/alt-R&B music that has been likened to a mix between James Blake, Bon Iver and Odesza. 

Since releasing his first single ‘Better Than’ in 2014, cln has delivered two highly successful eps — Sideways & Found — along with a collection of equally successful singles. Now it’s time of his new single ‘Monday Morning’, here’s his own introduction: “This song is about grief. I won’t go into too much detail, I prefer the listener to interpret the lyrics for themselves, but essentially it’s about the feeling of your life being turned upside down by something completely out of your control. Unfortunately, grief is something that everyone has to experience at some point, and one of my ways of coping with it is to write songs. I tried to keep this one fairly stripped back and minimal, letting each element breathe and speak for itself. I have a tendency to cram too many elements into a song, so this year I have been trying to force myself to simplify things a little bit, and focus more on my songwriting.” Enjoy the tune!
