French-Canadian pianist and composer Alexandra Straeliski has released a new single, ‘Umbra’, and an extended version of her critically acclaimed record, Néo-Romance. The previously unreleased piece is accompanied by a music video shot by Nick Helderman at La Marbrerie in Montreuil, France. ‘Umbra’, the final piece for the project, was created to lighten the darkest part of the shadow and has become a fan favorite, receiving a rapturous reception wherever Straeliski performs.
