The Hard Quartet is a band. But what is a band? Perhaps one can think of a band as a body, a ‘corpus’, in which physically distinct life forms make up a chimera that cries out with one voice. In this particular band, which is one of millions existing in the world today, four musicians unselfishly come together and create a rock’n’roll that is familiar yet new, warm yet icy, melodic yet sphinx-like in its seductive and subtle enigmas.
