Von Datty is a surrealist, screamer and visionary songwriter who was born between the winter and spring of 1991 in Tivoli (RM). It would have been difficult, he himself admits, to write a certain kind of song without being born and raised in the Roman province. Growing up, he cultivated and accomplished only two things: two beautiful moustaches and an incredible passion for music and especially for the ‘song-form’. He started his own personal and individual project, a term he much prefers to the more common ‘soloist’.

In over ten years of his honourable career, Von Datty has released three albums and several singles, including the latest ‘Grimilde’, ‘Canzone Allucinata’ and ‘Baba Yaga’, which were released between the end of April and last hot summer and are shining examples of the evolution of his style.
