Haute and Freddy – Shy Girl

Pop duo Haute and Freddy have released a new single titled Shy Girl. Known for their blend of 18th-century aesthetics and Eighties-style synth-pop, Michelle Buzz and Lance Shipp continue to stand out with their theatrical sound and visuals. The new track is a call to self-liberation and unapologetic self-expression.

Described by the artists as “a coming-out anthem in every sense,” Shy Girl explores the journey of breaking free from expectations and fully embracing one’s identity. The duo highlights the importance of owning one’s “inner wildness” and the freeing rebellion that comes from no longer caring what others think.

This is only the fourth release from Haute and Freddy, who have built a distinctive image through their retro-futuristic sound and medieval-inspired visuals. Their fans, affectionately known as the Royal Court, lean into the fantasy by commenting on social media in Renaissance-style English, adding to the duo’s whimsical and immersive world.
