Bedford and London’s gothic five-piece Dog Race announced that their much-anticipated debut EP, “Return The Day”, will be coming June 6th on Fascination Street Records. They also shared a new single in the form of the spectral (almost) title-track “Return The Day (Colours)”.

The band’s vocalist Katie Healy had the following to say about the themes behind the EP: “A soundscape born from sleepless nights, intrusive thoughts, and the quiet war between the mind and the world around me. Each track pulls at the threads of cultish beliefs and everyday expectations, exposing the weight they place on someone already battling inner turmoil.”

“Return The Day” is a five song document from the band that drags you deep into the fog of burnout, co-dependency, and emotional stasis. Across its runtime the band unspools the slow horror of fading joy and fractured identity, where insomnia bleeds into daylight and personal growth is sacrificed to keep others comfortable.
