Singer-songwriter and multi-disciplinary artist Jehnny Beth returns with her new album “You Heartbreaker, You”, due out on 29 August on Fiction Records via Virgin Music. To celebrate the announcement, Jehnny shares the first track from the album, “Broken Rib”.

With an intensity reminiscent of his Savages days, “Broken Rib” is a powerful and raw comeback. ‘We learn to breathe with a broken rib,’ sings the artist, who struggles to keep breathing despite the pain. ‘I knew if I sang again, I’d have to start with a scream,’ she says of the track.

“Broken Rib” is accompanied by a powerful video directed by Jehnny Beth and long-time collaborator Johnny Hostile. A raw and surrealist antidote to societal decadence.
