Haai – Satellite

Australian producer, songwriter and DJ and adopted Londoner Haai – aka Teneil Throssell – has announced her new studio album: Humanise, due out 10 October 2025 on Mute. It is anticipated by the single “Satellite”.

The track “Satellite” features a collaboration with Jon Hopkins, the lead vocals of Obi Franky, the participation of ILĀ and the Trans Voices choir. The single is a crescendo of celestial glitch-pop reminiscent of early Kompakt releases, 90s rave and 2-step. The visualiser is signed by Dobermann Ltd, with whom Teneil collaborated on the graphic part of the project.

‘Satellite encapsulates everything HUMANiSE stands for: the importance of the people around us and the unique humanity we can offer in an ever-changing world,’ says Teneil. “I feel lucky to have shared this track with Jon, Obi, ILĀ and the Trans Voices choir. This album is dedicated to my queer and trans family, and to allə lə alatə – to say thank you, to light up every space you enter. I will always be by your side.”
