Tom Odell’s new album, “A Wonderful Life”, will be released on 5 September 2025. It was recorded in London and includes 10 tracks, including the new single “Ugly”.

On his seventh studio album, Tom Odell has created a work that embodies a universal spirit of empathy and total honesty; an album that observes the fractured landscape of modern, fragmented society, finding dystopia and darkness, but also, and above all, flashes of beauty and hope.

The songs on A Wonderful Life seek to understand human existence, which is chaotic and complex by nature, and never just one thing. ‘I wish I could sum it all up clearly, as if it were a nice package with a bow on top, explain what the mood and message are, but these songs are the opposite of that,’ he says. ‘Living, and writing honestly, is now a deeply important part of my life. And if I have a duty, it is only to continue doing so.’
