The Wave Pictures have announced their new album “Gained/Lost” to be released on 27 february. The first single is “Alice”.

Through classic songwriting and musical mastery, Gained/Lost combines 1960s garage rock, 1970s classic rock and 1990s American indie with the independent spirit that has guided the band for nearly three decades. To accompany today’s announcement, the Wave Pictures have shared the first single and opening track from the album, ‘Alice’, a poignant beauty inspired by the writings of William Burroughs.

Throughout Gained / Lost, David Tattersall (guitar and lead vocals), Franic Rozycki (bass), and Jonny Helm (drums) capture the joy of playing together—a chemistry that has cemented The Wave Pictures’ status as one of Britain’s most enduring cult bands.
