Ora Cogan – Honey

Ora Cogan has announced her new album Hard Hearted Woman, out March 13 via Sacred Bones. Alongside the news, she has shared “Honey,” the first single taken from the record, accompanied by a new video.

Hard Hearted Woman is Ora Cogan’s sixth full-length release and her second for Sacred Bones, following the Bury Me EP released earlier this year. Written and shaped in the remote landscape of Lillooet, British Columbia, the album brings together spare country lines, minimal folk textures and flashes of psychedelic rock. The tracklist also includes “Bury Me,” further tying this release to the recent EP, while “Honey” sets the tone with its blend of country melodies and steady indie-rock rhythms.

A Canadian songwriter rooted in instinct and place, Ora Cogan has built a body of work that moves freely between Americana, folk and psych-tinged rock. Her music often reflects a deep connection to nature and an interest in the uncanny, shaped by solitary environments and long stretches of reflection. With Hard Hearted Woman, Cogan continues to follow a personal and unfiltered path, letting atmosphere, landscape and lived experience guide the songs.
